Stuart Hepburn

Stuart Hepburn is a seasoned academic and industry professional with extensive experience in storytelling, screenwriting, and theatre production. Currently a Lecturer at the University of Stirling since February 2017, Hepburn has also served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland from September 2016 to November 2022 and held the position of Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing and Performance at the same institution from 2006 to 2015. Hepburn's freelance work as a screenwriter spans numerous platforms, including BBC, ITV, and Channel 4, where impressive contributions include roles as a Story Consultant and Lead Writer for adaptations of Ian Rankin's Rebus novels.
