Stuart Jennings

Stuart Jennings is the Lead Data Scientist at the BBC, where they manage a team of researchers and engineers that develop AI tools for internal products. They scaled the AI team from one person to a high-performing group of 20 while guiding the BBC's strategic approach to AI. Stuart's career began in Ancient History and transitioned through software and data engineering, leading to a role in data science and machine learning engineering management. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History from the University of Oxford, a Master of Arts in Ancient History from UCL, and a Level 7 Apprenticeship in Machine Learning from Cambridge Spark.
