Stuart Sharpe is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at BBC since October 2013, Stuart leads the BBC Sounds mobile app team, managing 7-8 engineers and overseeing technical direction. Prior to this, Stuart held the position of Senior Software Engineer for the Mobile iPlayer team, contributing to both iOS and Android platforms. Earlier experience includes roles as an iOS Engineer at PixelMags Inc., where Stuart developed code for Newsstand apps, and as an Indie Developer, creating successful applications such as 'Election 2010.' Additional experience encompasses web and mobile development at Liquid24 Ltd. and design and marketing at Price Engines Ltd. Stuart holds a BSc in Music Technology & Audio Systems Design from the University of Derby.
