Susan Roberts is the Head of Culture, Arts & Music at BBC Audio North and is the Director and founder of the BBC Contains Strong Language festival. They have served as Executive Editor for notable programs such as Loose Ends and The Verb and have directed over 200 radio dramas, including the award-winning Black Roses - The Killing of Sophie Lancaster. In addition to their extensive work in radio and theatre, Susan is currently pursuing a Senior Leadership Apprenticeship at Exeter University and has received the Benson Medal and a fellowship from the Royal Society of Literature.
