Suzanne McManus

Suzanne McManus is a seasoned broadcast professional with extensive experience in editorial policy and commissioning roles, currently serving as Senior Editorial Policy Adviser and Commissioning Editor at BBC since September 2022, overseeing notable entertainment shows like The Graham Norton Show and Doctor Who Unleashed. Prior to this, McManus held the position of International Project Lead at Kite 77 and took a hiatus to live in Switzerland. During a significant tenure at BBC from 1998 to 2015, McManus was instrumental as Commissioning Editor for Entertainment, developing and exec-producing a wide array of popular programs, and previously served as Head of Programmes at BBC GLR. McManus has also worked as a freelance broadcast consultant, providing expertise in production and talent development, collaborating with various broadcasters and production companies.
