Toby Cox

Toby Cox is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Team Lead at BBC since October 2017. Prior to this role, Toby held the position of Senior Developer at Netro42 from May 2003 to October 2017, alongside freelance work as a software developer from 2000 to 2010. Earlier career experience includes a role as a waiter/barman at Orso Restaurant from 1999 to 2002. Toby holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Cranfield University, completed in March 2023, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Classics from the University of Bristol, earned in 1996. Education was further supplemented by attendance at Abingdon School and Dragon School in Oxford.
