Toby Friedner

Toby Friedner is an Executive Producer at BBC 3CR, where they lead a team of 30 journalists and producers, fostering a supportive environment for creativity and diverse talent in radio. With a strong background in journalism, Toby has also worked as an assessor and trainer for media apprentices and co-founded Chiltern Creative, a networking group for creative professionals. They have been active in the industry since 2000 as a freelance compere, host, and facilitator. Toby's dedication to radio is rooted in a belief in its profound impact on listeners' lives and their commitment to compassionate leadership. Toby holds a first-class BA (hons) in Media Performance and is currently pursuing an honorary PhD for services to broadcasting.
