Tom Gray is a seasoned professional in the field of nature and biodiversity, currently serving as the Group Head of Nature at BBC since May 2024. Previously, Tom has been self-employed as a Nature and Biodiversity Advisor since December 2023, collaborating with business leaders to enhance operational processes that benefit nature and society. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Associate - Biodiversity and Nature at Arup from October 2012 to September 2023, focusing on integrating nature targets within ESG strategies. Tom's earlier experience includes roles as an Ecologist at MOUCHEL plc. and as a Field Ecologist at Baker Shepherd Gillespie. Tom's academic background includes a Master of Science in Wildlife Conservation and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with Honours in Wildlife Biology, both from Newcastle University.
