Tom Middleton

Tom Middleton is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in film and media production, currently serving as a BBC-approved Drone Operator since July 2018 and an aerial cinematographer with Lush Films, which Tom co-founded. With a robust freelance career spanning various roles including Director of Photography, Director, Producer, and Editor, Tom has worked with notable clients such as BBC and Channel 4. Tom's background includes founding the Shortfilm48 initiative, coordinating projects designed to engage young audiences in film, and delivering educational workshops and lectures in creative media across multiple institutions. Tom holds a BA in Media Arts from the University of Plymouth and a PGCE from Edge Hill University, showcasing a strong academic foundation in the field.
