Tom Sadler

Tom Sadler is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at the BBC, specializing in open source and InnerSource practices while representing the organization in the broader open source community. Previously, Tom held various engineering roles at the BBC, culminating in senior positions that involved innovation and software intellectual property concerns. Tom's experience also includes roles at CDL as a Software Technician, where they developed and maintained software for personal lines insurance products. Additionally, Tom has been actively involved with the InnerSource Commons Foundation, serving in multiple roles, including Assistant Treasurer. Tom earned a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool and a Postgraduate Diploma in Software Engineering and Internet Architecture from the University of Bradford.
