Tommy Nagra

Tommy Nagra is an experienced media professional currently serving as Director of Content at BBC Children In Need since June 2018, with a broader role at the BBC since January 2015, including positions such as Senior Project Director and Head of Channel Development & Partnerships. Notably, Tommy has played a key role in launching a Big Digital Plan for Children and fostering partnerships with independent producers in the children's sector. Prior experience includes leading the revival of a key BBC base in The Midlands as part of the Project England initiative, addressing challenges related to low staff morale and developing a comprehensive business plan. Tommy Nagra holds a BA (Hons) in Communication Studies from Sheffield Hallam University, obtained between 1988 and 1991.
