Vignesh A

Vignesh A is a bilingual journalist with a distinguished career in print, digital, and broadcast media. They began their journey as a reporter at The New Indian Express in Coimbatore before moving to the BBC World Service in Delhi, where they excelled as a Broadcast Journalist, later becoming a Senior Broadcast Journalist. In this role, Vignesh led digital operations and mentored teams while continuing to produce original content for BBC Tamil. After a brief career break, they freelanced as an Independent Journalist before returning to the BBC in May 2024. Vignesh has also been recognized for their work, winning The Statesman Rural Reporting Award in 2024.
