Doug Alligood

Doug Alligood has an extensive career in advertising, currently serving as EVP of Horizontal Markets and Chairman of the Diversity Council at BBDO since April 1984, where responsibilities include developing strategy and creative materials across all agency departments while promoting diversity and inclusion. Prior to this role, Doug held the position of President at UniWorld Group for a brief period in 1983 and worked at RCA Corporation from 1971 to 1983 as Director of Corporate Advertising, overseeing advertising agency collaborations for corporate initiatives. Doug began the career at BBDO in 1962 as an Account Executive, advancing from roles such as Media Planner and Marketing Group Supervisor. Doug earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial and Advertising Art from Bradley University between 1952 and 1956.
