John Clarkson

John Clarkson is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in analytical chemistry and diagnostic technology. Currently serving as a QC Senior Scientist at BBI Solutions since December 2022, John Clarkson previously held multiple senior roles at Global Access Dx, where involvement in the Centre for Advanced Rapid Diagnostics led to innovative advancements in lateral flow immunoassays. Additional experience includes the development of quantitative colloidal SERS methods at DeCipher, analytical studies at Avacta Analytical, and post-doctoral research at prestigious institutions such as Case Western Reserve University and the University of Glasgow. John Clarkson holds a PhD and a BSc Hons in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.
