Joshua Walker is an experienced educator specializing in Russian language and literature. Currently serving as a Russian Teacher and Russian Exchange Coordinator at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols since July 2011, Joshua teaches all levels of Russian and leads the Russian club and annual exchange program with Moscow School 1232. Prior teaching positions include Instructor roles at Stanford University and IB Instructor for Russian Literature at St Andrew's College. Joshua holds a PhD in Russian and Slavonic Studies from Trinity College Dublin and has a background in English language instruction, having taught ESL in Moscow. Academic credentials also include a Master’s degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University, along with additional studies in Russia and at the University of Washington. Research interests focus on 19th-century Russian literature and cultural identity.
