Stacey Spring is an experienced educator currently serving as an Upper School History Teacher at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School, and as a History Teacher at Groton School since July 2015. At Groton School, Stacey teaches an elective course on politics and power and a required course on World History and Western Civilization, while also coaching soccer and basketball, and residing in a ninth-grade girls dormitory. Previously, Stacey was the History and Social Science Department Head at Boston University, where coursework and research focused on constitutionalism, nationalism, and citizenship, culminating in a dissertation on party development and the Scottish National Party. Additional teaching experience includes a tenure at Blair Academy as an English and History Teacher and various coaching roles, along with serving as a Teaching Assistant at Lehigh University. Stacey holds a PhD in Political Science from Boston University and a BA in English and Political Science from Middlebury College.
