Simone Vaccari is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consumer finance and credit risk management. Since September 2022, Simone has served as the Group Director of Consumer Finance at Bboxx, following the company's acquisition of PEG Africa, where Simone held the position of Group Director of Credit from October 2015 to September 2022. In this role at PEG Africa, Simone focused on enhancing credit risk management strategies to improve delinquency rates and collections within low-income market segments through innovative analytics and policy development. Prior to PEG Africa, Simone held various leadership positions at Telecel Ghana and Vodafone, emphasizing customer value management, product innovation, and commercial marketing. Simone's educational background includes an Executive Education Programme from the China Europe International Business School, a Master’s degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Esade, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università Bocconi.
