Leo Samuel

Leo Samuel is a seasoned HVAC engineer with extensive experience in the energy efficiency sector. Currently serving as a Senior HVAC Engineer at Barghest Building Performance Pte Ltd since July 2021, Leo's previous roles include Senior Researcher at Disruptive Thermodynamics, where design and optimization of energy-efficient air conditioning systems were a focus. Leo's academic career features positions as an Assistant Professor at Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology and a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, where notable projects involved atmospheric water generation and intelligent building automation. Leo also has a solid foundational experience as a Junior Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Educationally, Leo holds a PhD in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, an MTech in Construction Technology and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. SIVANTHI ADITANAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING.
