Terence K.

Terence K. has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries.

Terence started their career as a System Analyst at the National Computer Board in 1990 and worked there for five years. Terence then joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as the Head of Projects & Administration, where they stayed for three years.

In 1998, Terence joined Getronics Pte Ltd as a Program Manager and worked there for two years. Terence then moved to Nokia in 2000, where they held multiple positions, including Area Project Manager, Quality Manager, Senior Project Manager in the PMO APAC, and Head of PMCC-PMO. Terence worked at Nokia for over 13 years, handling various global deployment projects and infrastructure operations in the APAC region.

After leaving Nokia in 2013, Terence started their own consulting business called ePM Training Services LLP. As the Director/Principal Consultant, they established the consulting business and process framework, provided project management consultancy and training, developed PM curriculum and courseware, and supported regional marketing efforts. Terence worked with clients such as A*STAR, Agilent Singapore, Singapore Institute of Management, and Nokia, among others.

In 2019, Terence joined The ARC Approach as a Principal Consultant, where they served for a year before moving to Barghest Building Performance Pte Ltd in 2020. At Barghest Building Performance, Terence initially held the role of Business Process Excellence, reporting to the CEO and focusing on process improvement and operational problem-solving. Terence later transitioned into the role of Head of Projects, managing regional project teams in APAC and setting up a PMO and project management methodology.

Throughout their career, Terence has demonstrated expertise in project management, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency. Terence has worked with various stakeholders, from small and medium enterprises to multinational corporations, and has a track record of driving successful outcomes in their roles.

Terence K. completed their Bachelor in Computing with a focus on System Development from Monash University between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1990, they obtained a Diploma in Computer Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Terence started their education at Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) for their secondary school, although the exact dates are unavailable. In addition to their formal education, Terence has acquired various certifications over the years. Some of these include becoming a Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI) Facilitator from Personal Strengths (UK) Ltd in February 2014, completing the Advance Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency in December 2013, and becoming a Certified Professional Risk Manager (CPRM) from ARiMI - The Asia Risk Management Institute in November 2013. Other notable certifications earned by Terence include Cloud Computing Specialist (March 2012), ITIL Foundation (February 2012), and Certified Scrum Master (October 2008).
