Mark Funston has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mark started their career at Nautilus Explorer, where they gained experience in operations and marketing in the Luxury Scuba Travel and Scuba equipment sectors.

After that, Mark worked as a Marketing Copywriter at Imprint Plus, where they were responsible for creating copy for various marketing materials for well-known brands in the hospitality, retail, travel, and service industries.

Mark then founded their own business, STUN-Fiction, where they served as the Founder and Lead Consultant. Mark provided content marketing strategies and services to small and medium-sized companies, successfully growing the business and serving over 50 clients annually.

Mark'snext role was at BBTV, where they held various positions. Mark started as a Brand and Content Manager and played a crucial role in driving the company's growth and increasing its network of creators. Mark then became the Director of Strategic Development, leading research, positioning, and pitching efforts for strategic partners. Mark later became the Head of Strategic Content Development, managing BBTV's marquee media clients and growing the NBA Playmakers channel. Finally, Mark served as the Head of Marketing and Public Relations, leading a multi-disciplinary team and overseeing the company's global marketing functions.

Mark Funston earned a Bachelor's degree in a Double Major in English and Critical Theory from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications in AdWords Display, AdWords Search, and AdWords Video from Google in May 2023.
