Alejandro Vigil is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in global markets and sales. Currently serving as the Fx & eCommerce Managing Director for BBVA en México since December 2022, Alejandro has been with BBVA Bancomer since July 2009, holding the position of Fx & Fx Derivatives Executive Director for Global Markets Sales. Prior experience includes roles as Head of CMB Global Markets Sales at HSBC from 2005 to 2009, and Institutional Investments Director at GBM Grupo Bursatil Mexicano from 2001 to 2005. Alejandro began a career in finance as a Global Markets Sales Associate at JPMorgan Chase from 1997 to 2001. Academically, Alejandro holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and a Licentiate degree in Computer Science and Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.
