Edgar Monroy

Edgar Monroy is an experienced professional with a strong background in credit management and technology. Currently serving as BEX Operations Credit Management and Recovery Senior Manager at BBVA en México since May 2016, Edgar leads a team focused on defining and implementing operational models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in credit service centers. Prior roles include Corporate IT Manager at Welldex, where Edgar managed technological infrastructure across offices in Mexico and the United States, and Subdirector Riesgos BEyG at BBVA, responsible for risk analysis management for the corporate and government banking sectors. Edgar's career began at BBVA in project leadership roles, with expertise in electronic data interchange from time spent at Paragsoft. Edgar holds an MBA and a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
