Lorelei Penn

Lorelei Penn, MSc, currently serves as a Machine Learning Specialist at BBVA en México since January 2023, focusing on the research, development, optimization, and deployment of AI processes and models. Previously, Lorelei worked as a Big Data Specialist at Walmart on the EVA project involving strings, text, and NLP processing, and held multiple roles at BBVA en México, contributing to initiatives such as Horizon and the Advice for Financial Health program. Additional experience includes an Analyst position at AT&T, supporting daily report generation, and a Programming Analyst role at E Global, responsible for coding routines related to debit/credit card transactions. Lorelei has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Academic credentials include two Master of Science degrees in Mathematics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo.
