Javier Lorente Sánchez

Javier Lorente Sánchez is a seasoned security architect with extensive experience in designing security solutions and defining corporate security strategies. Currently serving as a security architect at BBVA Technology en Europa since January 2018, Javier previously held roles at GMV as an information security architect and security infrastructure engineer, where responsibilities included engineering and deploying security products for BBVA. Prior to that, Javier worked as a consultant in IT risk, fraud, and security at Innovation 4 Security, and as an IT risk governance consultant at Solium eService Center. Javier's early career includes a service engineer role at Ericsson, focusing on network installation and configuration. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Information Security Management and degrees in Software Engineering and Distributed Computer Systems, all from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
