Albert Pla Arasa

Albert Pla Arasa has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Global Head of eFX Sales at BBVA since May 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing a digital sales team that promotes the adoption of Global Markets products for Corporates and SMEs. Previous roles at BBVA include Director of Corporate & SME eSales and Vice President of eSales, focusing on digital capabilities in FX, Equities, and Fixed Income. Earlier in their career, Albert gained valuable experience in financial audit at KPMG and completed a trainee position in asset management at CECA. Albert holds a Master's degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and has furthered education with a Master’s in Financial Options & Futures from IEB, an International Financial Markets Programme from LSE, and a recent course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
