Alberto Estevez

Alberto Estevez has extensive experience in the field of IT risk, fraud, and security, currently serving at BBVA since May 2007. Prior to this role, Alberto held project management positions at AZERTIA TECNOLOGIAS DE LA INFORMACION from January 2001 to May 2007 and at PENTA 3 from March 2000 to December 2000. Earlier in the career, Alberto worked as a programmer at GETRONICS GRUPO CP from May 1998 to February 2000. Alberto holds a Licenciatura in Ciencias físicas from Universidad de Salamanca and has completed further qualifications, including a Curso superior de Director de Seguridad in Ciencias jurídicas y sociales from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2016, a GIAC Cloud Security Essentials certification from SANS Technology Institute in May 2023, and a Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from SANS Technology Institute in an unspecified year.
