Alfonso Deus, CFA, is the Head of Global Public Finance for Spain, Portugal, and Turkey at BBVA CIB. They previously held roles such as Executive Director of Investment Banking and Vice President of M&A at BBVA, where they led teams focused on public finance and energy. Alfonso also gained experience as an Associate in M&A at PwC and as a consultant at Accenture. They completed an MBA and hold a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros. Currently, Alfonso is a member of the Sustainability Committee at CFA Society Spain.
