Andres Sasiain has been the Jefe equipo de políticas corporativas riesgo de crédito at BBVA since 1999, overseeing credit analysis for industrial, hotel, and developer companies across Spain, Mexico, and South America, while designing corporate policies and tools related to credit risk. Prior to this role, Andres worked as an auditor and consultant at Deloitte from 1992 to 1999. They earned a Licenciado in Ciencias Económicas from the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU) between 1985 and 1991.
