Antonio M. currently serves as the Director of the Master in Banking Technologies, Payments, and Digital Banking at Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE, a program developed in response to the rapid growth of the Fintech industry. In addition, Antonio holds the position of Head of Payments Acquiring Business at BBVA, overseeing the acquiring operations in Spain across both in-store and e-commerce channels. Antonio has served on the Board of Directors for both Iberpay and Redsys España, representing BBVA, and was a member of the Digital Euro Market Advisory Group at the European Central Bank. With prior roles at BBVA encompassing payments strategy and innovation, Antonio possesses extensive experience in the payments sector, supported by a robust academic background in business management and computer science from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
