Anxo López

Anxo López is currently serving as Design Principal Manager at BBVA since September 2016, overseeing design for the digital factory focused on retail customers and managing global design for the mobile channel. Previous positions at BBVA include Design Discipline Manager and Design Lead, where Anxo was responsible for strategy development and the BBVA Design Community of Practice. Anxo has also been an adjunct professor at institutions such as UDIT, IE School of Architecture and Design, and Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, teaching courses related to user experience, design management, and design methodology. Prior experience includes roles at Designit as a Service Designer and Resource Manager, as well as positions in graphic design and consultancy. Anxo holds multiple degrees, including a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA from IE Business School, with a strong foundation in industrial design and environmental engineering.
