Benjamin Teo

Benjamin Teo is an Executive Director of Credit ESG at BBVA, where responsibilities include leading environmental, social, and governance initiatives within credit markets since April 2022. Benjamin serves as an advisory council member for the ICMA, contributing to the Green Bond Principles and Social Bond Principles. Previous experience includes roles as Vice President at Commerzbank AG, Vice President at BMO Capital Markets, and Senior Associate at Crédit Agricole CIB, focusing on debt capital markets. Benjamin is also a former national team member of the Wrestling Federation of Singapore, representing the nation in various international competitions. Academic qualifications include a Sustainability Leadership Programme from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Bath, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
