Daniel Angel Cubero has extensive experience in financial management and internal control within the banking sector, primarily at BBVA. Since September 2019, Daniel Angel Cubero has served as the Internal & Management Control ALM, overseeing internal control and financial management for the group's balance sheet. Prior to this role, Daniel Angel Cubero held the position of CFO for BBVA Suiza from June 2013 to September 2019, managing risk areas as CFO of Private Banking. Daniel Angel Cubero began a long tenure at BBVA in 1996, during which time responsibilities included managing information systems for South America, coordinating financial directions for subsidiaries, tracking subsidiary developments in Latin America, consolidating accounts for over 500 entities, and conducting internal audits across international branches. Daniel Angel Cubero also contributed to the training of selected directors from various Spanish offices and departments. Education was obtained from Universidad de Zaragoza.
