Ignacio Pesquera

Ignacio Pesquera has extensive experience in foreign exchange sales and trading, currently serving as the Head of FX Sales for SME at BBVA since March 2005, where responsibilities include developing and distributing FX products and hedging strategies for mid and small corporate clients in Spain. Past roles at BBVA encompass leadership positions in FX Trading for G10 currencies, with a focus on risk management for both volatility and spot trading books. Prior to BBVA, Ignacio worked as a Financial Advisor at SAFEI, managing investment portfolios, and held auditing positions at KPMG, specializing in the industrial sector. Ignacio's educational background includes an Executive Master in Finance from IE Business School and an MBA from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, complemented by specialized training in options and futures.
