Jaime Vazquez

Jaime Vazquez is a seasoned professional in finance and policy with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Head of European Affairs at BBVA since September 2019, Vazquez previously held the position of Policy Advisor at the Institute of International Finance from May 2016 to August 2019. Vazquez's career at BBVA began in July 2003, progressing through various roles including Head of Solvency Policies & Resolution Planning, Head of Accounting & Solvency Policies, and Manager of Internal Audit. Prior experience includes a role as Manager of Audit Services at PwC from September 1996 to July 2003. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Finance & Accounting from CUNEF Universidad and additional studies at IEB and Instituto BME.
