Josu Alvaro

Josu Alvaro is the Efficiency Director at BBVA Spain, where they manage costs and investments, oversee cost allocation, and serve as a procurement partner. Previously, they held various roles at BBVA, including Financial and Accounting MIS Director, where they focused on accounting infrastructure and financial information systems. Josu started their career at Arthur Andersen as an Auditor and later became a Senior Consultant at GMS Management Solutions. They hold a Licenciatura en Ciencias Empresariales from Universidad del País Vasco and are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics Research from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
