Lalitha Seelam

Lalitha Seelam, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project finance and risk management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Risk Management Project Finance at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria since September 2025, Lalitha has previously held the position of Vice President of Project Finance at BNP Paribas and Mizuho. Lalitha's career began in engineering, working as a Process Engineer at Jacobs Engineering and as a Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore. Education includes an MBA in Finance from IE Business School, an MBA Exchange Programme at UCLA Anderson School of Management, and advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and the National Institute of Technology Warangal. Lalitha has also been a CFA charterholder since 2012.
