Mark Vassilakis

Mark Vassilakis is a financial institutions credit risk professional with four decades of experience spanning all three lines of defense. Currently, Vassilakis serves as Director at BBVA, focusing on credit risk management for banks and broker-dealers. Previously, Vassilakis held various senior roles, including Manager of Credit Risk Analysis at American International Group, Inc., and Vice President at Moody's Investors Service, where significant contributions to credit risk assessment and policy development were made. Vassilakis holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from St. John's University.
