Ramon Martinez

Ramon Martinez is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Currently serving as Managing Director at BBVA since September 1999, Ramon leads the Origination and Execution team within the Corporate & Investment Banking division, as well as overseeing Global Operations for C&IB. Responsibilities include managing a diverse team of 700 employees across multiple regions, along with spearheading strategic initiatives such as the development of HUB's post-trade platforms. Prior to BBVA, Ramon worked at J.P. Morgan in the Financial Department from May 1991 to September 1999. Ramon holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School and a degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Empresariales.
