Raul Hernandez

Raul Hernandez is an experienced professional in data architecture and management, currently serving as Product Owner for Data Architecture Metadata Management at BBVA since March 2008. In this role, Raul focuses on equipping the BBVA's Big Data Platform with necessary governance tools, employing Agile methodologies to develop features such as a Data Dictionary, Business Glossary, and data quality solutions. Previous positions at BBVA include Analyst BI roles with responsibilities in BI projects, data quality, and metadata development. Before BBVA, Raul worked at Coritel as a Senior Analyst and Senior Programmer, contributing to fiscal information systems and corporate data warehouses for Banco Santander. Raul holds a Licenciatura in Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, obtained between 1995 and 2000.
