Samuel Gilberto Jimenez

Samuel Gilberto Jimenez currently serves as the Global Head at BBVA, leading the transformation of the technological platform and operational processes in Financial Crime Prevention, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Financing of Terrorism (FT), and Fraud. With over two decades of experience at BBVA, Jimenez has held various key positions, including Senior Manager responsible for the global anti-fraud strategy and Principal Manager for the Global Fraud & Business Process Security Program. Prior to BBVA, Jimenez worked as a Consultant at IBM Global Services and Accenture España. Educational qualifications include a CRISC certification in information risk management from ISACA, a project designer degree in solar energy from the Centro de Estudios de la Energia Solar, and a degree in Physics from the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas, UCM.
