Sandra Vázquez

Sandra Vázquez is a Senior Data Engineer currently engaged in research at the Centro de Ciencias Genómicas UNAM, where they specialize in the study of virulence in Salmonella through synthetic and systems biology. They previously held positions in natural language processing and data engineering across various organizations, including BBVA AI Factory and Instituto Internacional de Ciencia de Datos, where they focused on data analysis, algorithm development, and pipeline optimization. Additionally, Sandra teaches advanced database courses at UNAM. They hold a degree in Mathematics from Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM, and are pursuing further studies in Artificial Intelligence.
