Sumedh Deorukhkar is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in global economic and financial forecasting. Currently serving as a Senior Economist at BBVA since April 2011, Sumedh has held several titles, including Senior Economist for Asia and Senior Economist for India. Prior to BBVA, Sumedh worked as an Economist at ICICI Bank from May 2007 to April 2011. Sumedh holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from GARP, obtained between August 2011 and August 2012, and a Master's degree in Economics from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, achieved in 2007.
