Karina Ruby Perez-Daniel

Karina Ruby Perez-Daniel's work experience includes positions at various organizations. In 2014, they worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Software Developer at AT&T. In 2016, they were a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Posdoctoral Fellow at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In 2018, they became an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Warwick. In 2019, they worked as a Researcher at Universidad Panamericana. Currently, they hold the position of Data Scientist Lead at BBVA AI Factory, starting in August 2022.

Karina Ruby Perez-Daniel has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. Karina Ruby then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Vision and Image Processing from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, followed by a Research Stay in Computer Vision at The University of Electro-Communications. Karina Ruby went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Vision and Image Processing from Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Additionally, they obtained a Research Doctorate in Computer Vision, Image and Video Processing from Université de Bordeaux.
