Ian Kandel possesses extensive experience in youth engagement and organizational leadership within the Jewish community. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President, Movement Building at BBYO since October 2004, Kandel has held multiple leadership positions including Vice President of Global Movement Strategy and Senior Director of AZA, BBG, and the Global Teen Movement. Prior to BBYO, Kandel worked at Hillel International as a Birthright Israel Coordinator and served as a Program Coordinator at The George Washington University. Kandel's educational qualifications include an M.B.A. in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, a BA in Political Science and Judaic Studies from The George Washington University, a Certificate in Jewish Education from Hebrew College, and a brief study at Tel Aviv University.
