Kevin Solomowitz

BBYO Passport Counselor/madrich at BBYO

Kevin Solomowitz is an experienced educator and counselor with a background in music and Jewish education. Currently serving as a BBYO Passport Counselor/Madrich since June 2021, Kevin leads groups of over 40 high school students on international trips, focusing on Jewish history, prayer, and travel etiquette. In addition, Kevin is a Hebrew School Teacher at Temple Oseh Shalom and a Music Educator and Instrumental Music Director for Howard County Public Schools, roles held since late 2019 and October 2017, respectively. Previous experience includes coaching chamber music and serving as a resident assistant at the New York State Summer School of the Arts from July 2016 to August 2018. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Teacher Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Bassoon Performance from The Johns Hopkins University and The Peabody Institute.
