Michaela Brown

Jewish Education Consultant

Michaela Brown serves as the Associate Chaplain for Jewish and Interfaith Life at Carleton College since July 2024, and previously held the role of Jewish Learning Collaborative Jewish Educator at Moishe House from August 2021 to May 2024. Michaela's experience includes a Summer Fellowship with T'ruah focused on rabbinic leadership and social justice, and a Development Associate position at American University Hillel, where Michaela engaged in stakeholder communications and programming initiatives. Additional roles include providing educational support at Temple Israel, interning at the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, and serving as a Development Intern at Hillel International. Michaela has also held leadership positions with BBYO and pursued rabbinic ordination at Hebrew College. Michaela holds a Bachelor's degree in Jewish/Judaic Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality from the University of Virginia and participated in a summer session at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies.
