The mission of the BC Rural Centre is to act as a catalyst organization that sustains and advances rural development in British Columbia.
The Centre provides a regular flow of important, timely information of particular interest to rural residents and stakeholders. It also hosts conferences, webinars, workshops, and information sessions, all with a distinctly rural — and positive — focus. 

The BC Rural Centre's goal is to function as the premier source of useful information on rural matters generally, and rural British Columbia in particular.
