Chen Xu

Chen Xu is a Research Associate at BCA Research since April 2022, focusing on macroeconomic research and report generation to aid client investment decisions. Previously, Chen served as a Portfolio Analyst at Mount Murray Investment, conducting fundamental and structured macro analysis while evaluating ESG factors to support the Chief Investment Officer. Prior experience includes an Equity Analyst role in the healthcare sector at Desautels Capital Management, where Chen monitored holdings, prepared reports for investors, analyzed regulatory risks, and provided stock pitch recommendations that led to significant fund performance. Chen began a career in finance as a Summer Intern in the Corporate Finance Division at Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, where financial statements were assessed and summaries prepared for lending decisions. Chen holds a Master’s degree in Finance from McGill University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from Fu Jen Catholic University.
