Mark Simpson

Mark Simpson is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in product solutions and engineering. Currently serving as Head of Product Solutions at BCB Group since January 2022, Mark's previous roles include Distinguished Engineer at LAB577 from September 2018 to December 2021 and Distinguished Engineer - Innovation Engineering at the Royal Bank of Scotland from September 2000 to September 2018. Additional experience includes a position as Tech Lead at National Westminster Bank from 1996 to 2000. Mark possesses a diverse skill set, including proficiency in Kotlin, Blockchain, Corda, Javascript, Python, C++, C#, and Go, along with expertise in various tools and technologies such as SQL/NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps. Mark has also held roles as a front office analyst/developer and technical lead/architect, specializing in equities and equity derivatives.
