Cody Simons

Cody Simons, AINS, API, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Ferris State University, where education was completed in 2017. Professional experience began with a Customer Service Representative role at The Mark McCrumb Agency of Allstate Insurance and continued through various positions, including a Personal Lines Underwriter Intern at Auto-Owners Insurance, followed by a Personal Lines Underwriter role. Cody progressed to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, serving first as an Associate Group Underwriter and currently as a Group Underwriter, focusing on building relationships, reviewing applications, and conducting risk assessments. Additional experience includes a student assistant role at Ferris State's Center for Leadership, Activities and Career Services, alongside early service roles in customer service and administrative positions.
